Awesome Album Covers: Love Unlimited Orchestra’s “Rhapsody In White”
Love Unlimited Orchestra - Rhapsody in White (20th Century, 1974)
Is that his house Barry White stands before on the cover of his Love Unlimited Orchestra‘s Rhapsody in White album?

Maybe. Maybe not. But whether it was his house, someone else’s house or a municipal building in downtown LA, you have to give White credit for portraying a degree of opulence that, given his success under his own name, might not have been far from the truth.
Surrounded by his harem, dressed to the nines ’74 style, hands clasped regally over his stomach, lower lip thrust out in a slightly-belligerent way, Barry White precedes every rapper who’s ever proclaimed himself the next big thing … by actually being, the next big thing.
The album, with it’s 40-piece orchestra, yielded a Number 1 hit for White 1974 with “Love’s Theme.”
